Light Output & Efficiency

Wattage is what you pay for. Lumens are what you get. Efficacy is the ratio that says whether the product is any good at converting one into the other.

You cannot judge brightness by wattage. A well-engineered strip produces more light from fewer watts, so professionals compare three separate numbers — each answers a different question.

lm/ft

Lumens per foot

The brightness figure. How much light the strip actually delivers along its length — the number to compare when judging output.

W/ft

Watts per foot

The load figure. What you size the power supply, thermal path, and energy budget around. More watts does not mean more light.

lm/W

Lumens per watt

Luminous efficacy — light produced per watt consumed. The efficiency figure, and the quickest tell of LED quality.

ENKORA lists all three on every strip spec, so you can compare output, load, and efficiency side by side.
